I love making websites. While I only started doing this professionally in March of 2012, I'm a Man of the Web; I spend a great deal of time checking out new sites, fooling about on social networks, and catching up on the latest trends in the online world and the hardware that displays it. Before this, I worked in TV for a couple of years, and before that I was an advertising copywriter. While each had its positive attributes, I found neither industry particularly appealing as a "career choice." The lessons learned in both, however, uniquely and positively inform what I do now.
The production skills I acquired in television helped me develop practical and logistical planning and thinking, while writing advertising copy gives me a unique ability to identify and craft effective web content.
